Installation steps

This step-by-step guide will walk you through the basic setup and configuration process for your Truevo WooCommerce plugin.

Step 1
Have you received your live credentials? These include your Entity ID and your Bearer Token. They should be in your email inbox. If you can’t find them, please check your spam folder.


Step 2
Click here to download the Truevo WooCommerce plugin zip file. Do not unzip this file!


Step 3
Let’s be careful. Sometimes complications can arise when you install third-party modules. So, we suggest that you make a backup of your shop. We also recommend first testing the integration on a test system, if you can.


Step 4
Login to WP Admin, navigate to Plugins > Add New and click on Upload Plugin.


Step 5
Click Choose File and select the downloaded Truevo plugin zip, then select Install Now. Remember, it’s important that you do not unzip this file before you upload it.


Step 6
Once the file has been uploaded it may give you the option to activate the plugin immediately, if not, navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins > and Activate Truevo Payment Gateway.

Step 1
Navigate to the new Truevo Payment Gateway menu in your Dashboard. Copy your Entity ID and Bearer Token into the supplied fields. Here you can also enable Test Mode and Tokenisation if you would like. Remember to click Save Changes.

Step 2
Enable the Payment Option, then copy your Entity ID and Bearer Token into the supplied fields.
